Personal development is gaining knowledge and
understanding or increasing your perspective in a particular direction.
Personal development is driven by the spirit of curiosity and the spirit of excellence.
The level of leadership you want to have determines the quality of development
you engage in. Personal development must
be done in context. What will determine
your mastery in any field of life is knowledge.
The difference between you and the professionals in your field is
knowledge. When you know what they know you will produce the same result that
they have. The more you know about a
thing the more confident you become. Personal development requires discipline.
It may also require tutelage. It exposes
you to the principles that govern what you do and how to apply them.
